iPad 2 Miniot Cover Review

Here is my review for the miniot cover for iPad 2. There has been a quite a lot of buzz about it. Anyway, the case is here and this how it looks like.



It came in a very sleek package. Wood is of great quality. Infact, there is a paper included that reassures that the case is made from real wood. Overall, I loved the packaging.

Overall I am very impressed by the iPad 2 Miniot case. You too should get it.

Galaxy Tab - what should be changed

1. Longer charger cable (and micro-usb port)
2. Camera Quality: Glass lens, better sensor, continuous AF when recording video. Lens cover. Flash options. HD recording.
3. Camera shutter release button
4. Fm receiver + transmitter
5. USB OTG support for external storage, keyboard, mouse, other peripherals (midi, dvb-t, external cam). This can be done using pershoot rom on galaxy tab 10.1.
   
6. Better GPS. Sensitivity, speed.
7. Analogue video out built-in. Is that old-school? E.G. VGA, S-Video, Composite
8. HDMI-out port.
9. Storage improvements. Speed of core storage needs improving. 32GB, 64GB option.
10. Indicator lamps – multiple for use with different applications. Programmable colour.
11. indicators and alerts need to feed to paired Android phones.
12. Replaceable battery
13. Kick-stand
14. SDXC card compatibility
15. Higher quality screen (at same or lower power utilisation.)

Really Cheap Galaxy Tab

U.S. Cellular has the cheapest purchase price at $200. However, to get that price, you will have to subscribe to an insanely expensive data plan $55 per month for 5 GB and a generous $200 cap of overages ($0.25 per MB), or $75 per month if you want texting to be included. That alone will cost you $1320 for the cheaper plan or $1800 for the more expensive version. If you blow past the 5 GB limit and you are careless enough to download a full-length movie via the available 3G network, U.S. cellular will gladly charge you $17.50 just for the 700 MB bandwidth.

Russian President not happy with Galaxy Tab

Dmitry Medvedev, Russian President recently tweeted that he is not impressed with the quality of Galaxy Tab's camera.

The president might be disappointed in the Galaxy Tab's picture because he's used to a higher quality image from a Leica M9 camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 7-inch touchscreen, works as a mobile phone, and can run Android applications or programs widely accessible or easily downloadable through the Internet.

Smart said the Samsung Galaxy Tab is free with a Smart Gold Unlimited Data Plan 3000 and up. Interested new subscribers may go to a Smart Wireless Center to avail of the unit. In a statement, the company said its other plans (Plans 1500, 2000, and 4000) are also perfect for the tablet computer's features and services that will soon be offered in Philippines

10 inch galaxy tab prototype

The component in question is the front panel of an “electronic book reader” device that Samsung has in the pipeline. Nevertheless, we’re with the big E on this one: it’s most likely to be a larger iPad-style version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
The 10-inch Galaxy Tab has been promised for 2011 – could this be the first snap of it? Quite possibly.
