Galaxy Tab Thailand: Price

If the iPad looks like an iPad Touch on steroids, the Galaxy Tab seems like the big brother of the Galaxy S smartphone.
The dominant feature of a tablet device is the screen, which is a 7-inch TFT LCD with 1,024x600 resolution (WSVGA) on the Galaxy Tab. It's very similar to an iPad, with its black bezel, but its square edges and rounded corners set it apart.
It weighs a modest 380g, nearly half as light as the iPad, but still a reasonable weight in the hands, and noticeable after 10 minutes of use.

As an e-reader, its pretty good with its novel-sized dimensions, and the bundled newspaper app is straightforward to use. Only time will tell whether such electronic devices will become the main viewing portal for news.
Its screen and portability makes it ideal for use as a navigation device, and web browsing is great, giving such devices a huge advantage over smartphones albeit at the cost of portability.
The Flash and HTML 5 support edges the Tab over the iPad in this regard too, and the Android Marketplace for apps is beginning to challenge the iTunes Store in terms of cost and availability.
The Swype text input function is easy to get the hang of, and rivals the speed of typing on a virtual keyboard with practice.
